Q:Hi all, I'm getting the message unspecified recorder error on my nero 8, below is the log. I'm not sure how to interpret it but it looks like something wrong with my dvd-rom. Help anyone?

A:three things-

What is the source of your files?

Try burning at 2x or 4x.

Note that you're copy of V8 is not up-to-date.

Ordinarily I would ask you to update the driver and/or firmware for your drive but I found that there is no Mashita website. However, they may be available at the vendor, such as Dell, support website.
