Guide step by step——Transcoding Audio Files

In this tutorial you can follow the step by step procedure for converting audio files in Nero StartSmart into the MP3 file format.
The following requirement has to be fulfilled:

You have started Nero StartSmart.
To convert and save audio files, proceed as follows:
1.
Click the Create and Edit tab.
The Create and Edit screen is displayed.

Click the Convert Audio Files menu icon.
The Encode Files window is opened.
3.
Click the Add button.
A browser window is opened.
4.
Select a folder in which the audio files which are to be converted are located (e.g. theMusic folder).
The folder is opened and the audio files are displayed.
5.
If you want to select several audio files at one time, click, for example Track01. Then press the Shift-key and keep it pressed while you click Track07.
The audio files from Track01 to Track07 are selected.
6.
Click the Open button.
The selected audio files are listed in the Encode Files window.
7.
Select the mp3/mp3PRO file type in the Output file format drop-down menu.
8.
Click the Browse button and select the target directory in which the audio files should be saved (e.g. the My Music folder).
9.
Click the Go button.
The Progress window is opened. The audio files are copied and converted into the mp3 file format. The progress bars displays the copy progress. The window is closed after the copy progress has finished.
10.
Click the Close button.
You have converted audio files to your hard drive in mp3 format.
