How I fixed the 'Nero Kwik Media has stopped working' error

Q:Probably related to my problem of not being able to get .NET framework to update successfully in Windows 7 Professional x86
After trying 'sfc /scannow' in a DOS window (having fixed several files), .NET framework still wouldn't update successfully and Kwik Media and Video still did not run.
Then I found out how to repair the .NET Framework 4 Client Profile at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/976982
Ran the Microsoft Fix it 50123 first
Then went thru Method 2 in the solution
Tried the .NET updates and they completed!
The Nero errors were gone!

A: The Antivirus must be Nod32 or Norton, shut down it then works
