Fatal Error Missing File NeroPatentActivation.exe
Q:Every time I try to use nero recode the patent trys to activate and i get this msg. Fatal Error Missing File NeroPatentActivation.exe. Reinstalled multiple times, emailed in my Serial number and sent it my support cab file to nero. I have had no response to anything. Somebody please tell me what to do.
A:when did you last hear from tech support? Normally, I tell people to expect up to 7 business days but that's unusual. However, I think they're swamped form the holidays and responses are very slow.
Q:It's been 3 days since I sent everything and have had no reply. Driving me crazy, but I guess I'll wait till the weekend before freaking out completely
A:Look in C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Nero\AdvrCntr6. Is the file there? This is for a 64 bit system. If you have a 32 bit system, it should be in C:\Program Files\......
When you installed, did you disable anti-virus and it's security features.
Be patient with tech support. They're a little slow right now. I think they're still recovering from the holidays.

I have the same problem every time I try to use Nero Recode and another one that shows a message as if a don't have a license when I try to use Nero Kwik Media.
I bought Nero Platinum on February 19th and it has been impossible to use it. I sent the screens showing the problems to Nero Support on February 20th and also reinstalled the software without antivirus and firewall but nothing changed.
Finally, I sent NeroSupport.cab as required by Nero Support on February 24th but I haven't got an answer since then.

First: Please remove the nerosupport.cab - it ontains personal information like serial
Seccond: But, i could see the problem here - you are using an illegal serial:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Nero\Shared\NL10]
[...]
"Serial10_1305501731"="9X03-016C-MXEX-4536-T0L7-2W2T-********"
This is a very often used illegal nero serial.
As I am at home now, i cannot check the other serials you have.
If the other serials are legal, just remove the illegal serial - then it will work.
If not....
Q:I erased all mentions of Nero previous versions from the Windows register. It seems to be working fine now. Thanks for your help. Please give a hand to Nero's Tech Support, because those guys really take their time to give an answer...!
