Nero 11 Already Installed error

Q:I had a problem while trying to install Nero 11 platinum. The installation only got part way through when the system was rebooted. Only the Nero Control Center was installed. I used Revo Uninstaller to uninstall what had been installed and to track down and delete as many registry entries related to Nero as could be found.

Now when I try to re-install the program the installer instantly aborts saying "Nero 11 Already Installed". :angry:

I have looked all through the registry and temp files and have deleted whatever I could find related to the previously uninstalled Nero 8 and the failed installation of Nero 11 but I still get the same result. It's very frustrating.

I cannot find whatever it is that the installer is looking in order to determine if the program has been installed or not. Until I figure it out this program is useless to me.

Can someone tell me what registry entry other file I need to delete in order to get this installer program to install Nero 11?

I am using Windows Vista Home Premium 64 bit.

A: It's very easy to solve the problem, I have said many times, Revo Uninstaller can not be used to uninstall nero, Nero will not be cleaned, and the infomations of nero will be destoried. In this sample, Nero 11 was installed, so there is no higher version, if there is a higher version, we can install a higher nero 11 version and then use the official nero cleantool to unintall nero 11, then reinstall nero in the clean system. If there is no higher version, just try your luck with nero cleantool, if you are not lucky, you can only reinstall your system. So Please remember it
